This program involved creating a recreation center on a large plot of land for a community that has no parks or current community center.  I challenged the paradigm of vinyl siding and brick in a very standardized community with a landmark that the residents can be excited to use.  My concrete curtain wall gymnasium floating over a glazed first floor will cause the citizens to stop and consider the building before entering and using it.
