This project was my studio year's first experience with having to plan an entire site as opposed to only a building.  The site is located between an industrial lot and a natural berm.  I aimed to create a transition zone between these two very different spaces by use of material: brutal concrete and warm wood.  The mixing of material, using more wood on the natural side and more concrete on the industrial side, works to address both entities of the site to create a harmonious connection instead of a choppy switch between the two environments.
